Veronica Alba was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Veronica earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida, where she sharpened her analytical and writing skills. After graduating from the University of Florida as a first-generation college student, Veronica began a career in education, where she worked as an Algebra teacher for five years. While teaching full-time, she attended Florida A&M University College of Law. Despite this demanding schedule, she was a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the Cuban American Bar Foundation Scholarship and ultimately graduated cum laude. During her time in law school, Veronica was an editor for Law Review and was the part-time representative for the Hispanic American Law Student Association. She was also selected as a student fellow for the LexisNexis Rule of Law Foundation Fellowship, where she co-authored and published an article on legal equity. In addition, Veronica was a summer associate for a prominent personal injury law firm, gaining hands-on experience drafting legal motions and observing multiple civil trials.

Today, Veronica is an Associate at Moody & Graf and focuses her practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on construction defect litigation. Veronica has a passion for guiding her clients through the complex issues of construction law and achieving the best possible outcome. Outside the office, Veronica enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs. She is also an avid reader and yogi who enjoys seeing and trying new things.
