Tyler Cooney received his B.A. in 2012 from Texas A&M University and then attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2015. While attending law school, Tyler was a member of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy and served as a Judicial Intern for Judge Ashley Moody during the summer of his first year of law school. Tyler was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Prior to joining the firm, Tyler worked primarily in Orlando. He spent his first three years following law school practicing family law, and then spent the following three years handling first party insurance liability cases, during which time he argued before the Second District Court of Appeals. Tyler joined the firm in 2022, and his practice primarily focuses on commercial litigation, specifically construction law.
